From free standing to floor-supported to wall bracket configurations, Gorbel I-Beam Jib Cranes provide the highest level of quality, safety and performance available.
I-Beam Jib Cranes have a heavy wall structural steel pipe mast and a reinforced large diameter base plate for minimal deflection and continuous alignment.

Motorized Rotation Jib Cranes
Motorized Jibs are available in the Free Standing, Wall Bracket, Wall Cantilever, and Mast Type Series. Retrofit Motorized kits for Free Standing Jibs are also available.
Motorized Jib Cranes are standalone products, with all the features of our standard jib cranes, with these features:
Control
- Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) are standard on all Motorized Jib Cranes. The drive can be configured for single or multiple speeds
Long Life
- Precision drive assembly with field adjustable torque limiter for added drive protection
- Worm gear reducer with oil bath lubrication for reliable operation and low maintenance. Worm gear reducer includes overload safety clutch
- Heavy-duty, totally enclosed, fan cooled, 3 phase Class B, 40°C ambient continuous, “C” faced motor, 30 minute rated, is standard
Precision
- Direct drive for all series jib cranes allows for accurate and consistent positioning of loads. This modular drive design makes maintenance easy and reduces long term costs
- Wall Cantilever and Mast Type masts are boxed for extra rigidity to withstand the forces of a Motorized Crane and provide more precise load control

Free Standing Jib Cranes
Free standing jib cranes are a highly versatile crane. They can be placed underneath large bridge cranes, in open areas where they serve multiple work stations, in outdoor applications such as loading docks, or in machining and assembly operations to be overlapped with other jibs to provide staged operation.
- Capacity up to 10,000 lbs.
- Coverage: circular, Standard spans to 20'
- 360° rotation
- 3 Mounting styles; base plate mounted, sleeve mounted, insert sleeve mounted
Features:
- Independent head assembly installs separately for ease of installation
- Full supporting triangular base plate gussets are used instead of struts to minimize crane deflection and make positioning loads easier

Wall Bracket Jib Cranes
Wall Bracket Jib Cranes are the most economical means of providing hoist coverage for individual use in bays, along walls or columns of plants, or as a supplement to an overhead crane or monorail system.
- Capacity up to 10,000 lbs.
- Coverage: circular, standard spans to 30'
- 200° rotation
- Ideal for swinging around obstacles or under obstructions
Features:
- Most economical means of providing hoist coverage for individual use in bays, along walls or columns of plants
- Low dead weight of the boom combined with bronze bushings and oil-impregnated bronze thrust washers provide for easy rotation and superior load positioning
- Formed bracket fittings provide for greater reliability. No welds in tension, all bolts are in double shear for increased strength
- Single tie rod, right hand threaded at both ends for easy boom adjustment and installation

Wall Cantilever Jib Cranes
A Wall Cantilever jib crane provides hoist coverage and 200° rotation for individual use in bays, along walls or columns of plants, or as an addition to an overhead crane or monorail system. The jib has the advantage of providing maximum lift for the hoist, since it can be installed very close to the underside of the lowest ceiling obstruction.
- Capacity up to 10,000 lbs.
- Coverage: circular, standard spans to 20'
- 200° rotation
- Requires a structurally adequate wall or column to mount to
- Welded or bolted connection depending on bracket centers
Features:
- Requires very little headroom, so it can be installed very close to the underside of ceilings to provide maximum lift for your hoist

Mast Type Jib Cranes
Mast Type jib cranes are floor supported, top stabilized, and capable of 360° rotation via a top and bottom bearing assembly. The efficient design usually requires no special foundation, and makes them the most cost effective of the 360° rotation jib styles.
- Capacity up to 10,000 lbs.
- Coverage: circular, Standard spans to 20'
- MT400 Full Cantilever - Provides maximum amount of lift where full use of available headroom is desired
- MT450 Drop Cantilever - Jib boom can be placed at a specific height to clear overhead obstructions
- 360° rotation
Features:
- No special foundation is required, making it the most economical of our 360° rotation jibs
- Full Cantilever option provides the maximum amount of lift where full use is available headroom is desired
- The drop cantilever option allows for specific placement of the boom to clear overhead obstructions
