Pneumatic Brake Assembly, Model PBA

The Pneumatic Brake Assembly is mounted within the conveyor frame under the conveyor rollers. When actuated, the brake presses against the rollers and will not allow the rollers to turn.

Features

• A pneumatic brake can be used in a wide variety of applications
• The brakes are available in two models: 
  
  • The PBA Single Air Cylinder actuates a brake pad that is available in lengths of 24” to 36”
  • The PBA Double Air Cylinder actuates a brake pad that is available in lengths of 48” to 60”
• The brakes are constructed of 7 gauge formed steel with a 5/16” thick high friction brake pad
• Each brake comes with a single 110 or 24-volt solenoid valve

Applications

• Work in process, product accumulation, and product indexing can all be pre-formed with a brake or a series of brakes in tandem
• Used on conveyor lines in packaging, manufacturing, distribution, warehouses, shipping areas, assembly areas, order fulfillment, automotive, food and beverage industries and more
