It is constructed with 14-gauge sheet metal that can be removed for maintenance if necessary. The lift speed is 20 fpm (feet per minute). The Rideable Material Lift must be installed by an authorized elevator contractor. The lift is easily controlled with up/down push buttons, E-stop, and an alarm at landings and inside the lift car.
